Where energy savings and guest satisfaction reside harmoniously

It was not difficult to find complaints about hotel showers online. Read about what these guests had to say about 3, 4 and 5 star hotels! As a frequent traveler myself, I look for a clean room first, a comfortable bed second, and a good shower third.

The following is a quote from a customer review of a 4 star resort: "The hotel did fail my personal shower test, the shower head was two inches below the top of my head and did not produce enough volume and/or pressure to rinse soap or shampoo off. Why do hotel designers place shower- heads 5'10" off the floor of the tub?"

I will not sit in a hotel bathtub, so the shower is better. However, make it nice with a good shower head.

There's something wrong with all hotel showers. The shower head is too low, or doesn't work right such as when it "saves" water by atomizing it...

Spending 250 + nights in a motel, hotel, give me a large walk-in shower with a great shower head.

Hotel shower heads: truly abysmal. My ex used to liken it someone whizzing on you. So for 10 years, I've carried a shower head and a wrench (I always check luggage due to bad back). Takes 10 seconds to take off the hotel shower head and put my own, hi-flow head on. Ta-Da, wonderful shower just like home.
I've only had one hotel confiscate my shower head mid-trip: a Marriott in San Fran.

... great breakfast, good wifi internet connection. Horrible shower - you barely got wet.

horrible bathroom with a really horrible shower

Like the review before mine, the horrible shower experience makes me have to advise you to find another location. you literally have to contort in order to wash your hair as the shower heads are VERY low.

The bathroom is very nice with marblesque tiling and Neutrogena bath products but it seriously took me 20 minutes to take a shower because of the horrible shower head.

Other drawbacks of the room were a horrible shower head(even the kids complained),

All the rooms are suites. Very large, and the beds have always been fine for me, I don't find them hard. The rooms are fairly quiet too, although the ones overlooking the lobby area will get noise and the piano music in the evenings, but not too bad.
The hotel advertises internet, but currently, only the rooms on the 7th floor are wired for high speed internet. There is a wireless signal available, but it needs a code, and when you ask the business center for a code, they say you have to use it in the business center only.
The exercise room is OK. Two treadmills, some free weights, steppers and bikes.
The restaurant is great. Really good food and reasonable prices.
The negatives: the shower. Never in my life have I experienced such a horrible shower.

We were in unit 301, a 3-bedroom, 2 bath suite. The suite was clean and nicely appointed. The only complaint I had was that the shower had absolutely NO WATER PRESSURE. It was miserable the way the water trickled out.
